I count myself a lucky one to have grown up in such a beautiful country. From the East Coast to the West, America has some of the most stunning landscapes in the world all under one roof. I’ve lived in the States my entire life, but it wasn’t until I was in my late twenties that I really started to see the country. And, while I could never pin point one specific favorite spot in America, the Teton region of Wyoming is somewhere high up on my must see list here in the States.
I had no expectations driving into Wyoming. I didn’t know much about the State, and had rarely heard it spoken about as a vacation destination when I was younger. Nonetheless, driving north from Denver, it became more and more apparent that we were entering another world of snowy shapes, stunning vistas, and a mountain scene unlike anything I had ever experienced before.
And, just like that, the Tetons began to stand tall among the endless trees and snow piles. For whatever reason, I had no idea that just outside of Jackson Hole, the Tetons stand proud in all of their glory. Still to this day, a hundred mountains later, the Tetons stand out to me as one of the most breathtaking ranges I have ever seen.
From the wild buffalo and other ranching fields in the forefront to the snow covered mountain tops, this region of the US is a must and unlike another other. Rivaled only by its neighbor, Montana, Wyoming is a truly beautiful state and in my opinion, the Tetons are without a doubt one of the most amazing sights in the state so do yourself a favor and add it to your must see list. you won’t regret it!
